Finally, I was able to find the time to make a new post. It's not that I have nothing to do - believe me, I have tons of stuff to accomplish. I just though that I had to make my post today. Let me just update you on what's been going on in my life since...June??
FUSE
The Foundation for Uplifting Secondary Education or FUSE had our school as the, uhmm, "actors" for their demo tape. Each year had selected students who would participate. I was one of them along with my other classmates. The taping was about the different methods of teaching. It was a pretty cool experience. I was with my classmates from 6 am to 4pm and had tons of laughter moments. Oliver and I were even partners in one activity - the Romeo and Juliet part. We were supposed to do a modern adaptation of the play. Our version was that of a criminal and a lawyer. To make it short, the theme of our version was, "Duty before love." Aww. It was a pretty dramatic scene. Oliver was a terrific actor.Grabe. The whole experience actually made us feel like real celebrities with all the cameras and stuff. Haha. Hydrocephalus.
I found it kind of unfair though, since onle people from Berzelius were on the set. I just don't think that our section should be given such treatment all the time. We're still humans and we still commit mistakes so I don't think there's any reason to always get school representatives from our section, just to be fair to others. Honestly, I know a lot of good peole from other sectons.
The taping had 3 classroom situations: Modern Adaptation Method of Teaching(Romeo and Juliet), Memorization Method(How Do I Love Thee-Sonnets of the Portuguese) and Film-making Method(The Cask of Amontillado - love it!). It took us all day to do all those. I had so much fun. Really. It was so amusing to be with my classmates. Considering it was just the start of the school year, it also served as one of Berze's bonding moments.
MY BIRTHDAY
Haha. July 5. The day I was born. To tell you the truth, nothing special really happens during my birthday, I mean, usually it's just another ordinary day - the only difference is the fact that people greet you, "Happy Birthday." I just appreciate it whenever my birthday comes up. I have a lot to thank for.
Hmm. Sige na nga. If you'r really looking for some news about my birthday, well, it's the first time that he gave me a gift(the noun that the pronoun is referring to is no longer required since it is a "universal truth.").
The pictures below shows the gift he gave me. Brown Bear is Gerald's bear, not mine, but I included him in the paper just so I could use the camera to uload it on the pc. Brown Bear is August. Blue Bear is my, rather our, beybi - Beybi July. Beybi July comes with the perfume I use everyday now. (Malapit na maubos. Huhu).

AyLabMayBeybiJulyBeriMats.Sad si July. Hanap niya Daddy niya. :)JOURNALISM SHOOTINGAnother shooting experience. Haha. This time we had a Journalism assignment that made us do a TV Bradcasting Show. It was one of the most challenging endeavors I've ever encountered, but whoah, I had so much fun. It was another bonding moment for the Berze Journ Group. We went to CCP to shoot the vic=deo clips and did the News Anchorng stuff back at school. It was quite fun. I handled the Entertainment News in quite a daring way. Haha.
Kaso sabi niya antaba ko raw tignan. Di ko na yun susuotin. Haha. The Fourth Year Journalism students who were able to view our work said it was quite surprising for me to be in such a segment. Hehe.
NATIONAL YOUTH SCIENCE SUMMIT SEMINAR AT THE MUSEUM OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLEI was with Ace and Alyana for this seminar. We were excused for the entire day. It was actually a well-organized seminar. It was sponsored by the Philippine Science High School. I have to admit, they are well-equipped. We even had our own I.D.'s, T-shirts, newsletters, paper, pen, and even a bag. The First Daughter Lulie Arroyo was also present as guest speaker. Bb. Pilipinas also sang for us and we were also able to take pictures with her. In the morning we had talks about Global Warming, Energy Conservation and Genetically Modified Organinsms(GMO's). I fell asleep in one of the talks. Haha.
In the afternoon, the three of us separated to attend the 3 symposiums discussing the topics already discussed earlier. I went to the Global Warming group and we had a really good discussion. After everything else we just assembled again to
It was a really fun and interactive seminar. To add to that, we saw Kuya Hoshi and Kuya Rap again! Yey. Memories of summer.
Inaasar pa nila ako kay Kuya Hoshi. Naku-naku. Bad. Ka-group ko pala si Kuya Rap nun but I didn't notice. Hehe. PARLIAWe had our parlia meetings twice this week. Parlia training is still ongoing. Haha. Kasama na si Oliver, Donna, Gen and Angelo for the 3rd year group. I'm not alone! Yey.
Haha. Kailangan ko mag-aral ng parlia. I have to balance it with my studies. Goodluck sakin!
Reunited with my parlia notes!NOLI ME TANGERE PLAYThis happened only yesterday. Actually, it was a kind of amusing experience. I applied the how-long-I-can-wait experiment. He and I were supposed to meet to go to SM Centerpoint where the play was going to show. I was waiting at jolibee, 7:45 am, the time we were supposed to meet. He didn't show up for 45 minutes. I tried to text, he didn't reply. I gave him load, he still didn't reply. As a last resort I called him, he rejected the calls. Imagine how worried I was. My imagination ran wild as I thought about the worst-case scenarios, even thinking that it was a criminal who was rejecting my calls and he was abducted.
Naman. I can get so exaggerated. In the end I had no choice but to ride along with Louise and her Dad. I would've waited longer, but the thing is Anna had my ticket and I couldn't get in without her. It would be such a shame to have her wait. So, I went into Cinema 5 dead worried and blabbering to everyone if they saw him.
By the time I was in the cinema he finally replied. I was still baffled, but I decided to ask for an explanation later.
The play was good, except for the other viewers who made such disturbances.They frequently screamed and stood up so that we were distracted and it was hard for us to understand the play. Lhannie was really mad too. Haha.
At the end of the play I saw him. I didn't ask for an explanation right away. I'm not the kind of girl who gets fuming mad when someone has her waiting. I'm also not the type who creates scandals in a public place. Puh-lease. I'm not cheap. I know how to keep my cool. It wouldn't have helped if I got mad anyway.
I talked to my friends first and chatted about the play. He was with me all along, but we didn't speak to each other at first. When we descended to the 3rd floor, that's when I started asking. He had a good enough reason anyway. He slept in. It was his mother rejecting my calls due to the fact that his phone's battery was low. I wasn't mad.
Sus. Nakakatutulog din ako. Honest mistake. It wouldn't help to argue anyway, and besides he apologized. Ayun. So we ate our lunch, then continued on to National Bookstore since I had to buy some books. It wasn't long before I saw my Berze friends and we started talking about our Filipino portfolios and the Bulletin Boards we had to design, so we bought some pretty wrappers. We left afterwards, then went around the mall. We passed by Quantum and I saw the same Berze people agian. Haha. We stayed there for a while before we left for a taxi ride back to Faura. We rode a bus, stopped by at Robinson's Imus(I still had to buy something), and finally I went home. Phew!
