This is (hopefully) the final installment of my Subic trip. So where was I?
Ayun. Since the Koreans already left that night, our respective teachers of NCR asked us to just sleep there. It was air-conditioned. Before going to bed, we said goodbye to our friends who were already leaving that night. Also, we had our bonding moments that night, not only with our respective co-delegates from our region, but as well as those from other regions. I was even able to talk to others in a dialect I know-Bisaya. I was up until 2am while Alyana, Ate Diane and Ate Socorro slept at a later time.
When we got up, we did our usual morning rituals. We left at around 9am but we got up so early. To eat up the extra time we had, we just continued talking and laughing. It was so fun. As in.
When we left for Manila, as expected, every one ofus dozed off. You can't blame us, can you? I mean, we just had 4 nights of irregular and incomplete sleep for crying out loud. I also had no cellphone load to keep me texting and fight my eyes from dropping.
Anyway, when we all woke up, we started talking with each other again. We arrived around lunchtime. Whle the boys from Q-Sci already left, the rest of us had our lunch at McDo at SM North EDSA. Fortunately, the guys from Q-Sci were also there. Hehe. We invited them to join us. Ganda nga ng dialogue ko eh...
"Kuya, dun nalang kayo samin"
"Bakit?"
"Na-miss ka namin agad eh! Hehe."
Ayun. After that, the three of us,(Me, Alyana and Ms. Coco) rode a taxi going back to Masci. I continued my sought-after bedrest in the taxi. I was still sleepy when I got to MaSci and didn't notice anything but just dropped my things at the UTP. It turns out that my bestfriend was at the guardhouse. Why? He was waiting for me. Sundo ko raw siya. Hehe. *kilig* He helped me with my stuff. Baet! Actually, I told Alyana that I wanted him to do that, but I thought it would be too much trouble on his part. Wishes come true. Hehe.
So, let's get to some people I treasure from this trip...
Alyana
Yeah, I know she's not a new-found friend, not literally, that is.Alyana and I have been friends since First Year. Monique introduced her to me, but we never really 'talked' long enough to get into each other's lives. We got to talking when it came to school politics(she was Class President last school year) and other reasons. Oh, we did get closer ever since Angelo started courting. They were already good friends by then. Buti nga siya eh, close sila nun. I have to admit, I used to be so darn jealous. The three of them used to be inseparable, whilst I had my own little corner, with my own circle of friends, who sometimes weren't there, leaving me to just look at their enviable closeness, silently crying inside. I even wrote a poem, "The Call of the Broken-hearted," which, up to this day, is STILL the most beautiful poem I've ever written. I guess I really do write better when my emotions tell me to.
Anyway, enough of that. Well, since Alyana was the only MaScian with me, and we "accidentally" got on the same team(I'm being sarcastic), you would expect that we spent a lot of time talking. We finally had that opportunity to get into each other's lives. We even shared sentiments about our private lives. I even confessed about the jealousy I used to feel for her. That's why I was able to post that certain emotion bravely in this blog of mine; I have nothing to hide anymore, it's all out of my system, and I'm not afraid to tell the world about it. There's closure.
Alyana and I also took our baths together, not in the same cubicle, but we made sure that we waited on each other. I remember how she would ask me not to leave her, thinking I already left the bathroom. I saw a different side of Alyana. I can't say that we are super-duper-ultra-to-the-max-to-the-tenth-power-squared close already. That was just four days, but because of this trip, I've developed a good friendship that I don't want to lose. :)
Ate Victoria
She's from Novaliches High School. She's an incoming Fourth Year High School student. At first I really wasn't able to talk to her. At the opening ceremony, we were seatmates during the showing of Algore's own movie. That's when we started talking, well, technically baout how Algore connected everything to global warming, but t was a good start. On the first night, when we were still roommates, we also waited on each other to take turns in using the bathroom. She's really nice. I text her sometimes. She may appear quiet but I've discovered how fun she can be. :)
Kuya Jomar
Just like Ate Victoria, he's from Novaliches High School. He was the first person I tried talking to. I just asked him what school he was from. He replied, but didn't say anything else. He was the most quiet person I met at that assembly, but I have to admit he was really cute too(naku, Ella, bad.). Hehe. I hardly got to talk to the guy, he was so quiet. He usually talked with Ate Victoria. The poor guy even lost his phone. Tsk, tsk. Now that we're n our respective homes, I invited him on friendster and also got to chat with him. He's really nice, not very vocal I guess, AND, I still can't deny the fact that yes, he IS cute. (Bad ka talaga!)
Ate Diane
She's from Batasan Hills. Ang babaeng walang friendster. Hehe. Ayos din to. I get to talk to her often during the trip. She's also an incoming Fourth Year Stiudent. It is indeed a small world since she knows Kevin Espiritu - Chemist of the Year at MaSci. Hehe. Says she sacrificed the ChemCamp for the Assembly, at sinadya pa sila ng teacher nila sa bahay.
Ate Socorro
She's Ate Dina'e schoolmate. She is also an incoming Third Year High School student. She's also nice. We talked and laughed about so many things. She's quiet but is a good conversationalist. Kasama ko siyang pumikit sa pagtapon at pagsisisi(egg sandwich with onion, don't ask)
Kuya Hoshi
He's one guy form Quezon City Science HIgh School. His real name is Hoshea. Pretty cool name if you ask me. He's a terrific speaker. He was amazing on stage. He's Top 9 at Q-Sci. He's quite the joker, one who proclaimed me the 'bugamaster.' He's a Born Again Christian, and very religious for that matter. He's a member of YSG which to them, means Young Sexy Girls, but is really the Young Scientists' Guild. One who Sir Mike likes to call during his lectures because of his question in one of the break-out sessions. Coincidentally, he said he also wants to take up medicine, neurology-exactly like me. Haha. Akala nga may gusto ako dun eh. Once again, yes, I admit, HE'S CUTE. (Lagot ka talaga Ella!)
Kuya Rap
He's also from Q-Sci. Isa siya sa mga nang-aasar sakin, pero baet toh. H ealso has some, err, dark secrets, but I don't want to expose him here. Akala ko nga, nung kinarma siya from teasing me, that he was mad at me, hindi pala. He's nice. He's an aspiring engineer. He let me use his phone for my , uhmm, 'special reasons.' I got his number and texted him several times. H e replied one time, saying sorry for not replying, that he just got cellphone load, inubos ko raw kasi. Hehe. He's also one of the guys na nagpapalaganap ng 'bugasismo.' He's also a member of YSG, and again, he's ALSO cute. (Ella tatlo na yan!)
Ate Katrina
She's our team leader from Pampanga, an amazing person. She has everything. She's totally amazing. We only get to talk when we're in our room after the activities. She's an incoming college student, although still confused as to what course she's going to take. I'm not in the position to talk about her personal life so let's leave it at that. Anyway, she's a core commander, a choir member, a leader of avro=ious organizations, Vice=president of Junior CARP, to name a few. AMAZING is a word that can describe her by a trifle. She's also a good team leader. She was nice to every one of us. There was a time when Alyana and I were able to talk about her about love lives. Oh, and she's also quite the musician. She's a guitarist with a wonderful voice, not to mention batch salutatorian. What more could she ask for?
Ate Wendy
One of the friends na naging close ko. She's from Tarlac. Sayang she went home early. I got her number though. She's an incoming Fourth Year High School student. She's really nice. we're on the same team an in effect got to know each other during group activities.
Ate Chao
A fellow incoming junior from Pampanga, from the same school as Ate Kat. She's really nice and I appreciate her effort to make friends with Alyana and I. Her name has a nice story. Hehe. I have her number although we don't text very often since we have different networks. We enjoy the convenience of chat instead.
Kuya Emman
He(or she) is not on our team, but he was among the prominent people in the assemble. Honestly, at first glance, crush na crush ko siya, but then I discovered, si Kuya Emman pala, ay kilala rin bilang Ate Emily. Whaa. I like the way he carries himself. Hindi siya O.A. He's very friendly and is so game! I love the way he dances "Itaktak Mo." He's so darn graceful!!
Ate Jam
She's already in college but still belongs to our region. She was among those who helped us formulate our cultural presentation. She's very talented, not to mention pretty, and has a very long name!
Kuya Nash
He's Ate Jam's older brother, with a very long name as well. He's very nice. Super baet. Actually, when I was so scared during that "slide for life," he offered to go ahead of us so if ever we would fall, he could be there. Aww. I chat with him often nowadays.
Kuya Edu
Kuya Nash's close friend. He's so nice too. Very mabaet, they both are. They even offered us their banigs since we didn't have one. Aww. He said that he could visit us at MaSci anytime, they were just a text message away.

This is Kuya Edu, Kuya Nash and Ate Jam Haii. These are just to name a few of course. Of course, I have so many more memories of this wonderful trip, and I'm thankful that, even if it wasn't what I expected it to be, I was given the awesome chance to be on the trip, and be able to take a summer vacation myself. I've planned to spend this summer at home for a change, but God had other plans, adn I like it. I still went out of town this summer!
Bottomline: I enjoyed myself.
