I'm back! Phew! Actually, I wasn't sure if I would post again or not, I've been gone for so long, but then I thought, it would be such a waste to let this blog go to nothing-I mean, after Arviel's nagging, Arviel's teaching, Jason's layout-making, and my fan's(??) longing for my posts(How thick can I get?), it would be a shame to not tell something about what's been going on. In other words, this is going to be quite a long post. Here goes nothing!
Our supposed to be next parlia meeting was April 30, a Monday. I hate Mondays. Everyhthing is just 50% more hectic on a Monday. I had double thoughts on whether or not I would go to the parlia meeting. Anyway, being the mahilig-pahirapan-ang-sarili kind of person, I decided to go to Manila anyway. Guess what? Parlia Adventure Part II-CANCELLED! Ms. Quintal was away on an emergency trip to Bicol and wasn't available that week. In effect, we didn't have a letter that would allow us to hold a training at school. Haha, and to think I was there at 11 am, when Ms. Sayat(T.H.E. Department Head) was right there to inform me of the good news(giggles). Haha. So I just started informing everyone else. Anyway, I wasn't the only "victim," Ate Paula showed up too, but left home after hearing the news. Kuya Noriel arrived at Masci around 1pm, and accompanied me to lunch at McDo, where we feasted on burgers and fries for lunch at 2pm. :)
The day doesn't end there. I had no plans whatsoever of letting my trip go to waste. It had to be meaningful, and who would I call? Ghostbusters! Hehe. Kidding aside, my bestfriend happened to be my textmate that time. Haha. Our random conversation shortly led to him going all the way from Pque to Manila for me. Sigh...Knight in shining armor ba ito? Haha. He really did come. Hehe. And I'm sorry to inform you that I shall say no more. Haha. BITIN!

..a little gift from Romblon...from...hehe..Surprises don't end there. That night, while I was quietly watching
Maria Flordeluna (I hate Wilma!), my cellphone started ringing. I though it was Papa or Mama, but no, it was Ms. Nacion! Just imagine how shocked and how bewildered I was, wondering whatever it was she wanted. I soon found out that she was inviting me to go to
Subic for a leadership training from May 1-5! All-expense paid! Huwhaaat?! I was in awe. I've never been away from home for so long, but I really wnated to give it a try! And Papa actually agreed! Whoopee! I was going with Alyana. Whaa!
I had no idea of whatever it was we were going to do there, but to be perfectly honest with you, when I think of Subic, I think of dolphins! Haha. Ocean Adventure! Unfortunately, the next day, I've discovered that where we were going was nowhere near Ocean Adventure...
Mama Eden accompanied me to Masci. Ms. Coco accompanied us on the trip as well. We rode a taxi going to the err...I forgot. Basta, tapat ng SM North Edsa at malapit sa Quezon City Science High School. We were riding the van together with other delegates from NCR. It was quite a long trip-3 hours if I'm not mistaken. Anway, let's go back to our location. So, I was dreaming of dolphins, right? Well, I woke up to the reality of Regional Science High School! Haha. That was where we were staying. It wasn't bad. It was able to accomodate delegates from all over the country, and it wasn't like the bathrooms weren't functioning well. I had no complaints with regards to accomodations as a matter of fact. Talk about high expectations! Haha. I wanted to go home, really, but little did I know that I was n for a trp I would never forget. Besides, I was already there, why not make the most out of it?
So, let me tell you what leadership training this really was. All the delegates from NCR(thus, including us) all the while believed it to be a leadership training for research projects or anything related to Science. I mean, having the Science Department Head inform you, and a Science teacher accompanying you, what would you expect? Surprise no. 2. It was actually the First General Assembly for the Junior Collegiate Association of Research of Principles or JCARP. CARP is an orgainization instituted to solve the real problems in this world and transforming it into one global family with the motto, "There's no such thing as number 2. Only NUMBER 1!", and in Junior CARP's situation, it was about the youth taking part.
The first day was quite confusing. There were so many delays and technical difficulties during the opening ceremony at SUBAC. It was the first time I've attended an opening ceremony that lasted from 11am to 8pm. Whoo! It was also the irst opening ceremony wherein we had a band, several lectures, and let's not forget Algore's 3-hour movie on global warming that unfortunately and accidentally put me to sleep for a few minutes. Anyway, I was amused at how he was able to connect everything to global warming. He's definitely better that Bush, I should say. The rest of the night was devoted to the preparation and presentation of cultural presentations by region. This is where Alyana and I met our new friends, although we weren't that bonded, it was really a good start, although our presentation didn't turn out so beautifully as we expected. I remember my role though:
May isa pong babaeng nagtetext.(ako yun)Voice: Pangarap mo bang pansinin ka ng crush mo?*malanding babae(that's me) tumingin kay cute na boy(Kuya Edu) sabay tanggal ipit*Voice: Pangarap mo bang maging kayo ng crush mo?*naglalandi ang babae sabay tanggal salamin*Voice: Kung ganun, iboto si POSPORO KINTSAY, pangarap niyang tuparin ang mga pangarap mo.POSPORO KINTSAY(Kuya Nash): Pwamis!*posing!*Cute db? Haha.
Ayan. This is the first part of my story. Ang haba pa kasi ng kekwento ko, but unfortunately it's past midnight, so I have to get some shut-eye. Anyway, I promise I'll continue the story-telling tomorrow. Believe me, the following stories gets even more interesting. ;)
Goodnight! mwah!
